PEI Vision Statement: To provide the Dental profession with an organized education curriculum in order to implement Dental Sleep and TMD into the general dental practice.
PEI Mission Statement: To organize current research in Sleep medicine and Orofacial pain, significant practical experience, and the latest thinking into a practical curriculum that a Dentist can use to implement Dental Sleep medicine and TMD into their general practice on a daily basis.
PEI Values:
1. We value validated outcomes based scientific research, which will be used as a foundation of our curriculum.
2. We value clear logical organization and presentation of current concepts and issues in both Orofacial pain and Dental Sleep Medicine.
3. We value the application of science to the daily practice of Dental Sleep Medicine, and Orofacial pain within the context of a general dental practice.
4. It is the application of science and experience to the practice of Dentistry that will drive the curriculum for the Prehn Education Alliance.
5. We value our colleagues in the medical profession and would draw upon their deep knowledge and experience to apply it to Dental Sleep Medicine and Orofacial pain so as to enhance the knowledge and experience that will add to the foundation of our curriculum.
