- Matching the patient to the right oral appliance
– With over 50 oral appliances to choose for your patient it’s important to use the one that gives your patient the highest probability of successful treatment.
- Proactively managing the titration process
– Getting your patients to a therapeutic treated position is the goal. Getting them to that point comfortably requires management!
- Working with different labs to get it right
– Lab results will vary. It’s important to know what to look for and what to ask of your labs to ensure your patients success.
- Alternative treatments
– Dr. Phillips uses Combination Therapy and Custom Mask Treatments that include the use of a CPAP machine along with a Mandibular Advancement Device when oral appliances aren’t sufficient on their own.
